- The overview shows open purchase orders and links to replenishment and budget planning.
- Each supplier product has a unit cost, lead time, minimum order quantity and case pack.
- A purchase order keeps its exchange rate and allocates freight and duty into the full cost per unit.
- Record goods as they arrive. Only an explicit posting updates Shopify inventory; a Posted receipt confirms the adjustment.
- The recorded budget calculation reserves $1,500 from $10,000. This demonstration product needs its purchase-order arrival date checked, so it is excluded and $8,500 remains unallocated. No purchasing recommendation is invented from incomplete information.

Before you get started
A few practical answers.
Is Quaybound available to install?
The app has been submitted for Shopify App Store review. Public installation is not open yet. Contact us below for the current status. We will add the installation link here when the listing is live.
Will it overwrite my inventory?
No background stock sync runs. When you choose to post a receipt, Quaybound adds the quantity received to that Shopify location. If a product is not stocked there yet, the app activates it at the location first.
Does it send purchase orders or pay suppliers?
No. You communicate with and pay your suppliers separately. Marking a purchase order as sent records its status; it does not send an email or make a payment.
How are reorder suggestions calculated?
The planner uses average daily sales, supplier lead times, review and safety days, stock and open Quaybound purchase orders. Suggestions respect order minimums and pack sizes. This is a simple planning aid; review seasonal products, new products and stock-outs yourself. History reads are currently limited to 2,000 orders per load.
What do I need to get started?
A Shopify store, the supplier’s invoice currency and the products you buy from them. Add unit prices and lead times, then create your first purchase order. Weight or volume is needed only if you allocate costs using that measure.
What data is stored?
Quaybound stores the supplier, purchase order and receipt records you create, Shopify product identifiers and staff account details needed to operate the app. Sales quantities are read from Shopify for planning and are not stored. See our privacy policy for details.
